Services: documents with legal validity in Italy

Seven areas, one technical responsibility. Everything handled personally by a translator registered with the Tribunale di Roma and the Italian Chamber of Commerce.

Start from your goal

You do not need to know the technical name of the procedure. Tell me what you need to achieve — I will point you to the right service.

Sworn translation

Documents with legal force in the Italian system. Portuguese, Italian, English and Spanish.

Italian citizenship by descent

Line of descent, spelling discrepancies, apostille and translation of the complete file.

Italian citizenship by marriage

A different route with different paperwork: a full-text marriage certificate, the registration of that marriage in Italy, criminal records from every country you have lived in — and an Italian language requirement.

Italian citizenship by residence

Naturalisation for someone who built the bond by living in Italy. The file mirrors your whole biography: every country you have lived in has to show up on paper.

Hague Apostille

When to apostille, when to translate and in what order.

Residence, work and study documents

Permesso di soggiorno, student visa, employment and family reunification.

Diploma and qualification recognition

Degrees, transcripts and syllabi for academic or professional use.

Driving in Italy and converting your licence

Sworn translation of your licence and the real path to conversion.

Document consulting

One hour of review before you spend on issuing, apostilles or translation.

Who does the work

Not every translation carries legal weight in Italy. A sworn translation (traduzione giurata or asseverata) only exists when a qualified translator takes legal responsibility for the text and swears it before the competent authority.

  • Tribunale di Roma — listed in the register of technical and specialised professionals.
  • Italian Chamber of Commerce — officially registered in the ruolo periti ed esperti.
  • 15 years living in Italy, inside the system that issues and receives these documents.
  • Over 50,000 documents translated in Portuguese, Italian, English and Spanish.

In practice: the document I sign enters the Italian system directly, with no need for additional consular validation.

How it works, for any service

  1. You send legible copies and tell me which authority will receive the document.
  2. I assess language, volume, format and requirements.
  3. You receive a fixed quote before any work begins.
  4. I do the work with technical review and sworn certification.
  5. You receive the signed PDF, hard copy where needed, and guidance on the next step.

Frequently asked questions

What do you need to get started?
A short description of your goal, the receiving authority, and legible copies of the documents you already have.

Do you work with clients outside Italy?
Yes. Everything is handled remotely, by WhatsApp and email, with hard copies posted when required.

How long does it take?
It depends on volume and on the receiving authority. The deadline is stated in the quote, before any work begins.
